NordVPN Review 2024: Is It Worth It?

 Honest NordVPN Review in 2024

Hey guys, so if you're curious about NordVPN and you're wondering why people are talking about it or if it's helpful in the first place, in this video, I'll talk a little bit about NordVPN so that you can hopefully figure out whether or not this is a good VPN for you or your specific situation. And if you want a detailed review or links to pricing or discounts that'll save you a little bit more money, you'll find everything you need in the description down below.

Getting straight into it, the first thing you'll notice about NordVPN is that you have a user interface. It's a map interface. I do like it; it's intuitive. You can refresh your geography and learn where all the countries are again, so that's not so bad. You've got over 6,000 servers in 61 countries and it's basically a good amount of countries. Not as many as Express or Surfshark, for example, which have more than 100 countries available, but it's still got enough countries so that you can access all kinds of popular streaming services and whatnot. So you're good there.

Besides that, you have a bunch of bonus features such as Threat Protection; this is essentially a mini antivirus. I really like this; it's just a lovely addition to NordVPN. You don't have to pay any extra for it. Meshnet is encrypted remote access, so you'll be able to share files or access your computer from abroad or remotely. So it's essentially remote access but made more secure over Meshnet, over the encrypted network of NordVPN. Now, Dark Web Monitor will keep an eye out for any leaked data that's linked to your personal information.

You have some specialty servers and these will be very useful in a handful of situations. So, for example, if you're in a restrictive country and you're noticing that you're not able to connect to NordVPN, you can use Obfuscated Servers, which will help you connect from restrictive or censorship-heavy countries. You have peer-to-peer, Onion over VPN, Dedicated IP, and Double VPN, all of which can be very useful in the right situation—more info on those in the review below.

But what you want to know about NordVPN is that it's basically super consistent when it comes to streaming services, and this is one of the main reasons why more and more people are using NordVPN. I mean, not only are you getting a very well-rounded VPN overall, excellent security, and excellent performance, but you're also getting all the necessary security features that you would need in a VPN, like the kill switch and split tunneling, and it works perfectly for streaming services.

I've tried accessing the Japanese Netflix library, some European Netflix libraries here and there, as well as the American and Canadian libraries, and I've also tried it with Hulu, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime Video, and a bunch of other streaming services, and it works perfectly fine. And as far as torrenting, you'll be able to torrent without any limitations. NordVPN fully supports torrenting, whether on the regular servers here or the peer-to-peer specialized servers.

So, to sum things up, if you're looking for a VPN that has no more than 61 countries and you're OK with 61 countries, let's just say you're looking for European, American, Japanese, and Korean servers that are all you care about, then NordVPN is a great option. And it has a bunch of extra options here and there. So, if you're interested in more servers, different options,, and different capabilities, feel free to check out Express and Surfshark in the description down below. I'll leave reviews to those as well.

But besides that, if you're looking for the best well-rounded VPN that offers a lot of bonus features for a very reasonable price while also maintaining very high levels of security and performance, and you can still torrent freely, it's compatible with all of the streaming platforms. If I have yet to mention that, you'll be able to secure up to six devices per subscription. And there's not much to complain about NordVPN, again, besides the lack of countries. I would say 61 countries at this point is not precisely the industry standard, it's a little below the industry standard, but considering NordVPN is such a good VPN, I would forgive it for that.

So that's it for this video. If you guys are interested in Nord or the other options that I mentioned, you'll find everything you need in the description down below.
